Schwalbe has completely revised the extra-wide Big Apple for an improved ride quality and completely worry-free performance. This version features an updated water channeling tread a more pronounced profile and a RaceGuard puncture protection belt to ward off flats. Its width gives built-in suspension for serious comfort on rough roads and city streets. Great for larger riders or cargo bikes 330 lb max. rider weight. The updated Big Apple also features the Marathon Endurance tread compound for excellent wear resistance. Schwalbe states that this tire is E-Bike Ready the whole Marathon range and the new Big Apple are suitable for use on most E-Bikes. However these tires except some Marathon sizes do not carry the ECE designation required for some faster e-bikes.
